Janice George

Janice Berry George, age 72 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 3rd, 2021. She is preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Lorene Berry, brothers, Don (Shirley) Berry, and David Berry Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Ray, brother, Mike (Brenda) Berry, and several cousins, nieces and a nephew. Janice was a longtime member of Rocky Dale Primitive Baptist Church and she was also a part of the Christian Womens League and the Red Hat Society. The family will have a visitation Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a funeral service to follow at 7:00pm, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, officiated by Elder Clyde Abbott and Pastor Scott Hooks. Family and friends will meet Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 10:45am at Clapps Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery for a 11:00 am graveside service, officiated by Rev. Bill Berry.
