Janice Carol Ricketts

Janice Carol Ricketts, age 72 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 25, 2016 in the presence of her loving family. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by parents Howard and Edith Tuggle. Survived by husband of 55 years, Robert “Bob” Ricketts; daughter, Katherine Taylor and fiancée McCurdy Rogers; sons, Robbie Ricketts and wife Pam, David Ricketts; grandchildren, Blake and Cody Taylor and fiancee Melinda Bowman, Allison Neal and husband David, Jeramy McCutcheon; great-granddaughter, Harper Neal; brothers, Jerry Tuggle, Tim Tuggle and wife Kristen; several nieces and nephews; and special friends and neighbors. A special thank you to Tennova Residential Hospice for their loving care. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm, Dr. Jim Robertson officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Thursday at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery for 11:00 am interment, Rev. Dennis Blazier officiating.
