Janet Lee Banks age 61 of Strawberry Plains passed away peacefully at her son’s home with her family by her side. Member of Chilhowee Primitive Baptist Church, Townsend, TN. She loved her home in the Smoky Mountains. Preceded in death by her mom Virginia Rasnick and step father Joe Rasnick, Brother Marty Oldham. Survivors; Son and Daughter in law. Peter and Kasi Banks, Daughter and Son in law Joanie and Steven woods, Grandchildren; Madison and Elijah Banks, Logan Batchelor, Danielle Parker, Autumn Addison. Brother; Jerry Oldham. Former husband; Henry Banks. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City. Family and friends will meet 10:45AM Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Chilhowee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Townsend, TN for an 11AM graveside service with Robert Rutherford officiating.
