Janet Dolores Hopson

Janet D. Dyer Williams Hopson, age 77, of Corryton, passed away at her home with her loving family at her side. Preceded in death by husband Samuel Hopson; son Richard Williams; father John “Boss” Dyer; mother Edna Mae Dyer; grandsons Bradley Delph and great grandson Richard Dylan Gaddy; and son-in-law Gary Clark, Sr.. Survived by children Debbie and husband Roger Pike of Knoxville, Jeff Williams of Washburn, Monica Clark of Corryton, and Larry and wife Karen Williams of Luttrell, Gary Williams of Maynardville; sisters Mary and Anita; brothers Johnny and Ronnie; 14 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Tennova Hospice care volunteer Karen Adams. Serving as pallbearers are Josh Williams, Cody Williams, Gary Clark, Jr., Roger Pike, Jessee Buffalo, Zachery Uriostegui, and Steven Garner. The family will receive friends 5-7PM Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with funeral service to follow, special music by the Williams Family and Pastor Daniel Kitts and Ron Dyer, Jr. officiating. Family and friends will meet 10AM Thursday at the funeral home and proceed to Dyer Cemetery for 11AM interment.
