Jane Lowery

Jane Lowery, age 86, of Andersonville, went home to be with the Lord and all the loved ones that have gone before her. She was a long-time standing and very involved member of First Baptist Church of Andersonville, and she loved her church family and friends dearly. Jane loved to garden and planting flowers, bird watching, and even enjoyed driving down to Norris Dam to watch for Deer. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jane loved her family more than anything, and truly was the ultimate caregiver. Jane was the former owner of Halls Service Center along with her husband, Maynard, and their sons and was very proud of it.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Maynard Lee Lowery, parents, Mirma and Myrtle Mae Wallace, grandson, Wally Jr. Lowery, and siblings: Ray Wallace, Anna Lou (Lloyd) Schuster, Dorothy (Hal) Beck, Joe Wallace, Jim (Barbara) Wallace, Reece Wallace, Barbara (Paul) Border, and Billy (Edna) Wallace.

She is survived her children: Wallace Lowery, Timothy (Diana) Lowery, and David (Deanna) Lowery; grandchildren: Matthew (Tabbatha) Lowery, Justin (Carolyn) Lowery, Katie (Austin) Tallant, Amanda (David) Webb, Ashley (Joshua) Matthews, and DeLaney Lowery; many great grandchildren, sister, Mary Thomas, special niece, Janice Beck, several nieces and nephews, and sisters-in-law, Kathleen Wallace, Christine Wallace, and Martha Wallace.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 12:00 pm-2:00 pm, at First Baptist Church of Andersonville, with funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Steve Lakin officiating.
