Jamie Phibbs, 48 of Knoxville passed away on Saturday April 8th, 2023, surrounded by his family.
Jamie is preceded by his mother Shirley Phibbs, his mother and father-in-law William and Judy Key.
Jamie was a loving husband and best friend of 29 years to Angela Phibbs. His heart was his Baby girl Autumn Taylor. He was a poppa to many fur babies that he loved dearly. Along with his daughter Autumn he gained another daughter Becca that seems to get his cheesy sense of humor.
Jamie is also survived by his loving, father James Phibbs, sister Cindy Phibbs, sister-in-law Melissa (Kendall), brothers in law Mikeal (Sharon) Key, Randy Key, Timmy (Amanda), and Shawn Sampson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Those who knew Jamie knows that this man never met a stranger, always willing to do what he could to help others. Jamie spent almost all of his life with his family: working at the shop with his dad and sister, floating on the lake with his baby girl, or cruising on his Harley with his wife.
Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Friday, April 14, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow with Pastor Charlie Tindell officiating. Family and friends will meet 9:00am, April 15, 2023, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel to go in procession to Hines Creek Baptist Church Cemetery for a 10:00am graveside service. Pallbearers will be Mikeal Key, Randy Key, Timmy Key, Kaden Sampson, Shawn Sampson, Kris Bailey, Todd Pique, Matthew Gilson and honorary pallbearer Randall Morgan.
