James W. Brown

November 4, 1917 — February 4, 2014

James W. Brown age 96, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on 2-4-14 at his home. He was long time member of Salem Baptist Church and served proudly in the Army Air Corps in WWII and retired from Toms foods. He is survived by his wife of 71 years Nancy E. Brown and their five children; Jim & Margaret Brown of Knoxville, Wayne & Lisa Brown of Knoxville, Johnny & Carol Brown of New Market, Ken & Pam Brown of Claxton, and Tommy & Cathy Gilliland of Blaine, along with nine Grandchildren and eleven Grandchildren. Family and friends will convene for interment at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery on John Savier Highway at 9:30 am Friday. Family will be receiving friends 5:30- 8:00 pm with funeral Service at 8 pm on Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City with Rev.John Holland officiating. Arrangements by Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
