James Thurman Burroughs

James Thurman Burroughs, age 90 of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Preceded in death by his wife Hallie Emogene Lyles Burroughs; parents Willie George and Stella Stover Burroughs; grandparents Calvin and Alta Burroughs; sisters and spouses Estelle Thompson (Earl Ray) and Loudell Dilldine (Gene); brothers W.G. Burroughs and Donald Burroughs. James is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Larry and Lisa Ridings Burroughs; sisters-in-laws Kathy Burroughs and Ann Burroughs; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren; several loving nieces and nephews and their families. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm Monday, August 16th at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel 4131 E. Emory Rd Knoxville, TN 37938 with a funeral service to follow at 7:00pm.
