James "Ryker" Ownby

James “Ryker” Ownby, age 5, went home to be with the Lord March 16, 2022. He was always smiling and loved music. Throughout all of his obstacles Ryker had incredible strength. He was full of life and his journey had purpose. He touched a lot of people and changed a lot of lives. Preceded by maternal grandmother Martha Bell; maternal uncle, Kevin Bell; maternal grandfather, Wayne Bell; paternal grandfather, Jerry Ownby; paternal uncle, Sorin Stanescu; and maternal aunts, Teresa and Lynn. Survived by parents, Julie and Patrick Ownby; sisters, Katie and Lily; paternal grandmother, Jane; paternal grandfather, Mike; paternal uncle, Jon; paternal aunts, Brandy and Emily; and a host of other family members. The family will have a receiving of friends on Saturday, April 2, 2022 between 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a memorial service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with Chaplain Jane Powell officiating. Thank everyone who was a part of Ryker’s journey, supported him through the hard times, and was there to celebrate in his joys.
