James Richard Horne

James Richard Horne, on May 17th, 2013, the Lord needed a special angel, so he sent for the very best. Rick was known by many and loved by all. Preceded in death by parents, Lea and Elizabeth Horne, brother, Danny, sister, Glenda, and brother-in-law, Darrell Gregory. He had only one love in his life, second to Jesus, his wife of 29 years, Lesia. He was an amazing father of five. He was employed by Beaver Brooke Golf Course since 1984. He attended Central View Baptist Church, and was a loyal deacon for 29 years. He left behind his wife of 29 years Lesia Horne, daughters, Brittney Mayes and husband Matt, and Jamie (25). Sons: Shayne (21), Allen (10), and Nathan (8). Also survived by, brother, Jerry Horne, sister, Linda and husband Dewey Richards, brother, Randy and wife Cindy Horne, sisters, Lisa Kingore; Debbie and husband Jesse Hurley, brother, Jeff and wife Geriann Horne, and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Service will be 8pm Wednesday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Rev. Donny Wadley, Rev. Danny Powell, and Rev. Eddie Sawyer officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home by 1:30pm Thursday and proceed to Lynnhurst Cemetery for interment at 2pm. Pallbearers: Jim Atkins, Glenn Butler, Jeff Horne, Randy Horne, Jerry Horne, Timmy Gregory, Danny Hardy, Kevin Kendall, and honorary pallbearers, Jimmy and Gary Gregory. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Wednesday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
