James R Ellison

James R Ellison, age 83, beloved Dad and Papaw went home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2018. He is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Vergie, parents Oliver and Nola, sisters Geraldine and Janice, and stepson Frank. He is survived by his daughter Dawn and sons Lonnie and Joe, grandson and best friend Jordan, grandchildren Chris, Dollie, Richard, Julia, Jackie, Brittany, Tiffany, seventeen great grandchildren, sister Dotty (Don) Sharp, brothers RN and George (Joyce) Ellison. The family will receive friends Monday July 16th from 5:00-7:00p.m. at Bearden Gospel Baptist Church, 5719 Walden Drive, memorial service to follow at 7:00p.m. with Rev. James Branum officiating.
