James H. Eblen

James H. Eblen, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 9, 2022. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and a long-time member of Lonsdale United Methodist Church. James was a veteran of the Air National Guard. He worked for TVA for over 30 years before retiring. James is preceeded in death by his parents; Kaney and Eula Eblen, brother; Roy Eblen, and sister; Helen Crowe. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Lois Eblen, sons; Chris (Bik) Eblen and John Eblen, grandchildren; Keliea Eblen and Kiana Eblen, sister; Frances Hutson, brother; Raymond (Faye) Eblen, and several other nieces and nephews. A call at convenience will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, from 11:00am- 6:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. All other services will be private.
