James H. Abbott

James H. Abbott, Jr. age 78, passed away June 17, 2017. He was a member of Bates United Methodist Church in Snow Hill, MD and attended Christ United Methodist Church. Jim began his 30 year career in broadcasting with WBOC in Salisbury, MD. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandsons grow. Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Catherine Abbott and grandson, Christopher Lewis. Left to cherish his memory are daughter, Stephanie Inman; grandsons, Spencer Inman and Jason Inman; sister, Janice (Robert) Skeeter of Snow Hill, MD; brother, Robert (Jenett) Abbott of Honesdale, PA. and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Helen Ross McNabb Center Adult IST, 201 W. Springdale Ave., Knoxville, TN 37917. Family will receive friends 6-7PM Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with memorial service to follow.
