James Franklin Bradley

Bradley, James F. (Jim) age 68 of Oliver Springs, Tn. passed away Friday evening Sept. 7 at Methodist Medical Center. Born July 13, 1944 Knox County Tn. Employed 34 years at Industrial Vendors, retired from Star Vending Co., member of New Beverly Baptist Church. Preceded in death by Father; Frank Bradley, step-daughter; Kimberly Denise Norris, mother and father-in-law; Marie and Bert Duncan. Survived by wife and best friend; Joyce A. Bradley, sons; Mike, Mark, and Scott Bradley, Knoxville, precious mother; Beatrice Underwood, step-sons; Greg and Paul Carr, grandson; Scottie, 4 great-grandchildren, “special daughter”; Stacey, best little buddy; Kevin Norris, son-in-law; Johnny Norris, brother; Dr. Tony Bradley and sister; Faye Williams, several brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Loved by many! Jim’s greatest hobby was fishing, but he was always too busy helping others in time of need. He got more joy in doing for his friends. That was his life! Jim is deeply loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew him! To have him as a friend was a blessing in itself! Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, with Rev. Jim Duncan officiating and Rev. Doug Williams ( Nephew) delivering the eulogy. Family and friends will meet at oak Ridge Memorial Gardens at 1:45 on Wednesday for 2 p.m. interment. Thanks to Dr. Gavin and Dr. Long and all the nursing staff at the hospital for their excellent care and compassion. In Honor of Jim’s memory, donations can be sent to the First United Methodist Church of Oak Ridge for the “ Keystone” program. We’ll miss you Jim, but we will see you again in heaven! Family will receive friends at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City, from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday.
