James Edward Miller

James Edward Miller, age 78, went to meet his Heavenly Father on March 20, 2016. He was a member of Riverdale Baptist Church and an employee of K.U.B. for 35 years. Jim also raised cattle about 20 years. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Kennedy & Edith Elizabeth (Mays) Miller. Survivors include wife of 60 years, Barbara J. (Petty) Miller; sons, James E. Miller Jr., Thomas K. & Cindy Miller; daughter, Tammy J. Miller; grandchildren, Bradley and Brittany Miller, Matthew and Megan Miller, Shelley and Wells McClure, Emily and Michael Saporito, Christy M. Miller; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Abbi, Shane and Ty Miller and Brenden Goodson and Ella Saporito. Funeral Service will be 7pm Wednesday at Riverdale Baptist Church, Minister Tom Miller and Rev. Michael Vincent officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Riverdale Baptist Church. Friends and family will meet at 10:45 am Thursday at New Salem Cemetery for 11am interment.
