James Edward Lambert

Command Sgt. Major, James E. Lambert, age 48 of Maynardville, passed away May 13, 2021. He was a Bomb Technician serving 25 years in the U.S. Army, received a Bronze Star, and served in Afghanistan, as well as all over the world. James loved hunting, fishing, and being on the river. Preceded in death by father Edward Lambert, grandparents; Olis and Juanita Lambert of Harrogate, TN, and Earl and Doxie Manning of Martinsville, VA. He leaves behind his 3 children; Kayla (Jessie) Bradford, Eden Lambert, and Ella Lambert, sister Shona (Rollin) Knifley, mother Wanda Lambert, grandsons Cody Bradford and Colton Bradford, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 to proceed to East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier Highway) for a 2:00 PM committal service, Pastor Marc Sasser officiating.
