James Edward Brooks

James Edward Brooks age 41 of Knoxville, born August 23, 1979 went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. He was a great man, father and grandfather, an amazing husband, and a wonderful brother and son. He was a Christian. He was loved by all and will be missed by all. He was employed by Ferguson Enterprises and had just received his 10 year service pin. He is survived by his wife, Shawna Brooks, daughters; Jenna Brooks and Tela Smith, Sons; Jaxon Brooks, Darius (Lily) White, Nathan Williams and Malachi Scott. Parents; Bill and Aletta Brooks, mother-in-law and father-in-law; Judy and Jimmy Scott, brothers; Scott (Lora) Williams, Billy Brooks and Chris (Tammy) Brooks, sister; Stephanie Williams. Several grandchildren, special nephew, Tyler Brooks and several other nieces and nephews. A special “thank you” to very special friends and family, Jackie Painter, Ernie and Vicki Hence, and his family at Ferguson Enterprises. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service, Rev. Jackie Painter officiating.
