James Clyde Haynes

Reverend James Clyde Haynes age 79 of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord Monday, October 29, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved pastor of Grove Heights Baptist Church at 3 times of his life. He is preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Bessie Haynes; Brother, Raymond Haynes. Clyde is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Norma Jean Haynes. He is also survived by daughter, Donna Buckner (Jay), sons; David, Ronnie (Rhonda), Donnie and Jeff Haynes (Trish). Grandchildren, Leslie, Andy and Courtney; 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Brother, Ernest Haynes Jr. (Hilda) and sister, Charlotte O’Dell (Henry). Many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to Covenant Hospices Nurses. The body will lie in state from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Grove Heights Baptist Church with funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Mark Keith, Rev. Doyle Wolfenbarger and Rev. Louis Branch officiating. Interment to follow at New Gray Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 pm Friday, November 2, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral Home Ft. City.
