James Benton Mouser age 88 of Knoxville passed away November 28, 2016. Preceded in death by parents Lee and Jess Mouser and sons James Allen Mouser, Tony McGhee and son-in-law Wayne Rosenbalm. Mr. Mouser was a WWII veteran and member of the 108th Airborne. He was a long time member of Graveston Baptist Church, volunteer of the Knox County Sheriff’s Department, Shriner, Mason and member of the Iron Workers Local 384. He was one of the original 7 members of the Knoxville Volunteer Rescue Squad. Survived by wife Imogene Marie Mouser of 57 Years. Survived by sons Wayne and Teresa Mouser, Pete and Becky McGhee, Daughters, Jayne Rosenbalm, Susan and Joey Hendrix and Sue Chasteen. Loved by many grand children and great grand children. Service 7 pm Wednesday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet 9:45 am Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City and proceed to Mt. Hermon Cemetery for interment service at 11. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 pm Wednesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
