James Benny Langford

James Benny Langford, age 82 of Knoxville, passed away July 5, 2018. Benny attended New River of Life Church. He worked at Powell Elementary school for 30 years. He is preceded in death by parents Ben and Della Langford, wife Opal Langford, sisters Jewel, Earnestine, Mary Ellen, Emma Louise, and brothers Charlie, John, Newman, Richard Allen, infants at birth, and two great grandchildren. Survived by children Donnie (Janet) Langford, Emma (Joey) Wilson, and David (Linda) Langford, and seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one on the way, and brothers DA and Verlin Langford. Family will receive friends on Saturday July 7, 2018 at Mynatt Funeral home in Fountain City from 1pm to 3pm with a funeral service to follow with Rev. Verlin Langford officiating.
