James B. Robbins, age 73, a veteran, father, grandfather, and husband, who was best known as “Benny”, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at his home in Knoxville. He served, with great honor, in the US Marines during the Vietnam War and was also was retired from Watts Bar Nuclear Plant. He was preceded in death by step-children Marisa Allison White and Richard Allison. Survivors include wife Sandy, daughters Robin Billings and husband Keith and Susan Glasgow and husband David, his grandson Tyler White, who he was raising and was especially close to, grandchildren, Sydney, Brady, Bailey, and Isabella “Izzy” Glasgow, and Adam Billings, who all were also was his pride and joy. He is also survived by step sons, Clark, Ron, Kelcey and Rustin Allison; and grandchildren from his blended family Nana, Ronnie, Olivia, Christian, Brennan, and Kylie Allison. Family and friends will meet 11:15 am Monday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Governor John Sevier Highway for graveside services and military honors at 11:30 am.
