Jackie Glenn Riffey

Jackie Glenn Riffey, age 32 of Powell, TN, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.  He loved life and loved to play.  Jackie's passing marks the end of a life that defied the odds.  Born with challenges that many believed would cut his time short, he proved them wrong with every stubborn breath he took.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence E. Riffey, Sr and sister, Kasha' Riffey.

Jackie is survived by his mother, Linda Riffey; siblings, Jeff Riffey, Amanda Riffey, Jessica (Ronnie) Riffey, Elizabeth Riffey, Savannah Riffey, Zach Riffey, Kallie Riffey and Steven Riffey; nieces and nephews, Caden, Cassie and Emersyn; special pet, Thunder Riffey.  The family would like to give a very special thanks and acknowledgements to Jackie's special nurses and caretakers, Jack, Josh, Rose, Anita, Robin and Claudia.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm with a funeral service to follow at 7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Powell Chapel with Pastor Leland Lyon officiating.  The family will meet Friday, January 3, 2024 at 12:45pm at Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00pm interment service.
