Jackie Lynn Cook

June 1, 1945 — December 5, 2016

Jack Cook, age 71, passed away December 5, 2016. He was a member of A Church Called Home. Jack was a veteran of the Air National Guard and had worked for New Market Zinc Mines (ASARCO) and owner of Cornerstone Builders for over 40 years. Preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Dovie Cook; brothers, Charles and Bobby Dean. He is survived by beloved wife of 51 years, Judy Cannon Cook; sons, Dwayne (Amy) Cook, Daryl (Laura) Cook and David (Amber) Cook; grandchildren, Ashton, Teth, Kaylynn, John and Andi Marie Cook; brother, Ronald Cook; sister, Gracie Buchanan and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5-7PM Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7PM, Pastor Daryl Cook and Pastor Becky Thome officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church “A Place Called Home” 5637 Strawberry Plains Pike 37914. Family and friends will meet 11:45AM Saturday at Eastview Memorial Gardens for 12PM interment service, Rev. Jason Creech officiating.
