Jack Don Jones

Jack Don Jones, age 87, went home to be with Jesus on July 6, 2013. He was led to accept Jesus as his personal savior by Quinn Lanham of Tazewell. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by parents, Cecil and Geneva Jones; infant son, Jack Don Jones II. Survivors include wife of 30 years, Carol Rae Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Kevin Smith; daughter, Kathleen Jones; son, Michael Don Jones; step-son, David Henry; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Benton McCuiston; and former wife, Marilyn Booth. Family and friends will meet at 1:15pm Monday at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for 1:30pm graveside service.
