J. Michael Paseur, age 46 of Powell, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center after a 3 month battle with cancer. He accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age. He graduated from Halls High School. He was the former Deputy Executive for Mike Padgett, Knox County Clerk, then joined Mayor Bill Haslam administration in the Human Resources Department for the City of Knoxville. In 2018, he re-joined Knox County Clerk’s office as Chief Deputy for Sherry Witt. Survivors; Son; Kingston (his love, pride and joy) Parents; Sandy and Karl Farmer, several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, March 19, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. Adam Holland and Rev. Dave Thomas officiating. The family asks that no flowers be sent, instead memorials can be made to Buffat Heights Baptist Church building fund or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
