J.C. Wolfenbarger, age 90, entered his eternal home Thursday July 20, 2017. Preceded in death by parents Cal and Martha Wolfenbarger; an infant brother and a most beloved son Dennis Wolfenbarger. Survived by his loving wife of 69 years Hope Farmer Wolfenbarger; sons Michael, William, and Steve Wolfenbarger; daughters-in-law Dianne, Suzanne, and Angel; granddaughters, Kimberley, Kelley, and Bridgette; grandsons, Blake and Drew; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Georgella Rogers; nieces and nephews, special friends Neil and Linda Smith. Retired from PPG Industries with 40 years of service, then retired as Secretary Treasurer of the Masonic Temple Association, Charles H. McKinney Lodge #433 F&A.M.; Past Worshipful Master Knoxville Lodge #718; Paxton Pearl Chapter #24; Knoxville Council #75; Coeur de Leon Community #9; 33 Degree Scottish Rite Mason with the Knoxville Scottish Rite Bodies, Frizzell York Rite College, Red Cross of Constantine, Past Worthy Patron of May Chapter #24 O.E.S. and other fraternity organizations. Honorary Kentucky Colonel and Honorary Tennessee Colonel. Former member of Euclid Ave. Baptist Church, now a member of Cumberland Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday July 25th at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, 2829 Rennoc Road, Knoxville, (865)-688-2331. The C.H. McKinney Lodge # 433 will perform the Masonic Ritual Tuesday at 7pm. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am in Greenwood Cemetery on Wednesday for an 11 am interment with the Rev.
