Iva Brown Reynolds

Iva M. (Brown) Reynolds, age 91 of Powell, passed away January 27, 2018. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. She worked for Standard Knitting Mill for several years before becoming a loving mother and homemaker. She had an engaging sense of humor and a loving spirit that so many people enjoyed. Iva loved to fish and spend time with her family and friends. Preceded in death by husband of over 60 years Matthew Reynolds; parents Emma (Brown) Roberts and Roy Brown; step-father, Charles Roberts; brother Roy Brown Jr.; brothers-in-law Melvin Noe and Wayne Welch. Survived by son Michael Reynolds and wife Carrie; grandchildren Keenan, Emily, and Tyler; sisters Ruth Brady and husband Jack, Margaret Noe, Shirley Welch and three generations of nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday, February 2, 2018, 5:00-7:00p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with service to follow, Rev. Billy Moore officiating. Flowers are appreciated, however, donations to Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Iva’s memory are encouraged. Family and friends will meet 10:45a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00a.m. interment. Pallbearers will be: Tyler Beach, Daniel Keck, Charles Plummer, Doug Roland, Steve Smith, and Landon Stephens. Honorary Pallbearer will be Danny Webb.
