Irwin Charles Morin

Irwin Charles (Chuck) Morin, 82, of Knoxville, Tennessee, walked into eternity on Sunday, April 13, 2025. He was born May 22, 1942, to Adelor and Gloria Morin. Chuck was a father and grandfather, and survived by former spouse, Ann Marie Morin; daughters, Jacqueline Weidinger (Dennis Warburton) and Lisa Wigdor (Jon Wigdor); grandchildren, Nickolaus Weidinger, Joseph Weidinger, Jacob Weidinger, Michael Wigdor, Andrew Wigdor (Maya Barrett), and Laura Wigdor (Joseph Pedersen). Upon graduation from Central High School in Providence, Rhode Island, Chuck enlisted in the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. Chuck worked as a mechanical engineer, specializing in granulators at Federated Products, Cumberland Engineering, and Frame. He took his expertise and started two companies (Advent Engineering and CM Granulator Corp.). He loved his children, grandchildren, and his God. Chuck was an avid fan of the New York Yankees baseball and the Kentucky Wildcats basketball teams. He enjoyed fishing, dancing, stamp collecting, and playing softball. Chuck was gifted in mathematics, and skilled at repairing almost anything. He was very proud to be a veteran, and could often be found helping fix or paint someone's house and taking care of his lawn. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. A burial service, complete with Military Honors, will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN. A memorial service with receiving of friends will take place at Maryville Vineyard Church, 1225 William Blount Dr., Maryville, TN 37801 on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 2pm.
