Irmgard (Lisa) Elizabeth Johansson of Powell went to her heavenly home on Saturday, March 26, 2022.
She was a member of Powell Church and a volunteer at its food pantry for many years. Lisa was admired and adored by those who knew her. She would light up a room with her infectious smile and caring personality. She was a woman of great integrity, compassion, and she had a deep love for her Savior and family. She loved her flowers and spring gardening. The influences she left behind as a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend will guide us through life’s journey.
Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Ludwig and Anna Vier; brother, Werner Vier; son, Ronnie Zimmerman; brother-in-law, Ernst Boss.
She is survived by her husband and best friend of 29 years, Roland Johansson; daughter Missy Lusby (Jeff); son Rick Poplin (Debbie); her grandchildren, who adored her, Keelie Camp (Brett), Cole Lusby, Cannon Lusby, Kendall Poplin, Preston Poplin, and Natasha Zimmerman (Uwe Winter); great-granddaughters, Lina and Lea Zimmerman; sister, Hannelore Boss; sisters-in-law, Ingrid Vier and Mia Engdahl (Stefan); niece, Manuela Gotzinger (and family); nephews, Thorsten Boss, Matthias Boss, Joachim Vier, and Jurgen Vier (and their respective families); and special friends, Mary Lou Bailey and Linda and Darrell Wall.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Powell Church, 323 W. Emory Road, Powell, TN 37849. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Rev. Brad Hyde officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, 3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918. Pallbearers will be Jeff Lusby, Cole Lusby, Cannon Lusby, Preston Poplin, Brett Camp, and Hunter Long.
Memorial donations may be made to Powell Church to support the food pantry.
