Irene Mae Blair

Irene Mae Blair, 91, of Knoxville and formerly of Strawberry Plains, went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2013. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and former Sunday School teacher. She retired after 45 years from Standard Knitting Mills. She was preceeded in death by husband, Clifford “Rip” Blair; daughter, Carolyn Robinett; parents, Melvin and Leona Adcock; sisters, Ruth Hickman and Bernice Adcock. She is survived by son, Ronnie (Jane) Smith; daughter, Sharon (Gilbert) Glenn; grandchildren, David Smith, Chris Gallop, Heather Robinett and Shane Smith; several great-grandchildren, and special family and friends. Friends and family will meet at 10:45am Monday at Pleasant Grove-Piney Baptist Church Cemetery for graveside service, Rev. David McGill officiating.
