Immaculate "Mimi" Conception Proffitt

Immaculate Conception Proffitt, affectionately known as Mimi, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. She loved her football, flowers, and her family.

She is preceded in death by husband, James Proffitt; son, Nathan Smith; parents, Rocco and Lena Cuteri; stepmother, Alice "Petey" Cuteri; sister, Virginia Bailey; very special friend, Deborah "Granny" Bowers.

She is survived by daughter, Lori Haynes (Brian); grandchildren, Katrina (Than), Maggie, Natalee, Rebecca, Gregory; great grandchildren, Ali, Noah, Braelyn, Alexandria, Lilliana, Izzabella, Annastasia; siblings, Rocco Jr. (Celeste), Susie (Tim), Olga, Maria, Becky, Peter, Abby, William; her work family; her church family at Fairview Baptist Church; several other relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the nurses and staff at Tennova North for their care during this time.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, August 6, 2023, from 1:00pm until the time of funeral services at 3:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Pastor Jeff LaBorg officiating. Family and friends will meet on Monday, August 7, 2023, at 10:45 am at Ft. Sumter Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside service officiated by Pastor Richie Beeler.

In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations be made to Mynatt Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
