Ida Laverne Maddron

Ida LaVerne Maddron, age 79, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on May 6, 2020. We know she was greeted at the Gates of Heaven by her loving husband of 60 years, Gerald Maddron. LaVerne was a faithful follower of Christ and a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and Mamaw. Her hobbies included painting, crafts, and cooking for her family. She is preceded in death by her parents Irene and Elmer French; husband Gerald Maddron; sister Wanda French; brothers Ray (Hazel) French; Don French; and sister Evelyn Stout. She is survived by son Rocky (Sandy) Maddron; daughter Michelle (Keith) Byrd; grandchildren Ashley (Matthew) Beeler, Kayla (Ondes) Webster, Karri (Christopher) Armstrong; great grandchildren Pacey Jones, Nora Beeler, Kinsley Webster and Korbyn Armstrong. Brother Benny (Brenda) French. Sister-in-law Sandra Price. Pallbearers: Keith Byrd, Ondes Webster, Christopher Armstrong, Dan Price, Donnie Fawver and Matthew Beeler. Family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00pm, Rev. Larry Woods officiating.
