Hubert Roberson

Hubert “Jerry” Roberson, age 80 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, while surrounded by family. Jerry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a sweet spirit and always wanted to have a good time. He served in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1965 and enjoyed golf and spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Hyrmee Roberson, brothers Harold Roberson, Billy Roberson, and Rodney Roberson. He is survived by his wife Sarah G. Roberson, daughter Sonya Roberson, grandchildren Jaxson Hickman and Braxton Atkins, brother Jim (Barbara) Roberson, sisters JoAnn Abercrombie and Linda (Bob) Williams. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 12:30pm at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920.
