Percival, Hubert Douglas left this world on April 15th to be joined in heaven with wife Catherine and oldest son David. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW2 and a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church and the Kiwanis Club. He was also a Mason and had retired from Tennessee Valley
Authority. He was an avid golfer and a loyal Tennessee Vols fan. Preceded in death by parents Forster and Mertie Percival, brothers Dr. RG Percival and Willard, sisters Mary and Helen. Survived by sons Douglas (Carolyn) and Donald, Grandchildren Allison and Benjamin of Knoxville, and Brian of Breckenridge, CO. great grandchildren Chase and Destiny and sister Pauline. The family would like to thank Dr. Bryan Mosrie and his staff, as well as the nurses of Quality Private Duty; Ricky, Sierra, Urshula, Vickie, and Sara for their special care. At his request Graveside Services and Interment will be 2pm Friday at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Adopt-a-Pet Humane Society, former home of recently adopted special pet and friend Myrtle Marie Percival. He will be in our hearts forever!
