Howard Dennis Phillips

Howard “Dennis” Phillips, Jr., age 53, of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at his home. He was born October 19, 1967, in Knoxville. Dennis was the son of H. Dennis Phillips, Sr. Preceded in death by mother, Vesta Sharon Butler. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Kathy Dawson Phillips, father, Dennis Phillips, Sr., step mother, Kathy W. Phillips, and daughter, Jessica H. Davis. He was blessed with many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. The family wishes to express special thanks to his close friend, Glen Allen, for his mentoring. Dennis was an avid pool player and ranked nationally. He loved to play the guitar with his friends and particularly his cousin, Ron Phillips. He also enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife, and gun smithing. Due to Covid 19, the family has requested a private graveside service on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery.
