Horace Adolphus Watson

Horace A. “Pops” Watson Jr., age 76, passed away on January 2, 2019. He was of the Baptist Faith. Preceded in death by mother and father Horace and Edna Watson Sr., sisters Jenetta Watson and Jean Watson Elliott, brother Johnny Watson, and several aunts and uncles. Survived by sons Michael Watson and James Watson (Jackie Drake), daughters Donna Watson (Gina Roberts), Anna Chadwick (Gary), and Kristi Watson Wilkerson (Eugene Wilkerson), grandchildren Eugene Wilkerson III and James Watson Jr., 2 greatgrandchildren, brothers Billy Watson and Jacky Watson, as well as several nieces, nephews, and close friends. Family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Beverly Park Place. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow at 8:00 pm, Chaplain Frank Dudley officiating.
