Hope Farmer Wolfenbarger, born July 10, 1930, in Knoxville, as the only child of Blake and Gladys Farmer, went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2022.
She Loved the lord and her family. A 1947 graduate of Rule High School and faithful member of Euclid Ave. and later Cumberland Baptist Church. Hope was a long-time member and Worthy Matron of May Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and retired from the Scottish Rite Temple after many years of service.
Preceded in death by parents; loving husband of 69 years, J.C. Wolfenbarger; precious son, Dennis Wolfenbarger.
Survived by sons, Mike, Bill, Steve (Dianne, Suzanne); Granny Hope to grandchildren, Kimberly, Kelley, Bridgette, Blake and Drew; 4 great grandchildren, David Austin, Ethan, Chloe and Genevieve (arriving February 2023); special friends, Neil and Linda Smith. A receiving of friends will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 5:00-7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Friends and family will meet at Greenwood Cemetery on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 12:45pm for an 1:00pm graveside service, Rev. Suzanne Wolfenbarger officiating.
