Hila Ann Lundy

On June 23, 2022, at the age of 79, Hila Ann Lundy passed peacefully into God's loving embrace through the twilight melodies of songbirds with her loving family at her side. Her immeasurable compassion and stern affection will be forever cherished. She is preceded in death by her father, John Raymond George; her mother, Helen Louise Purser George Clevenger; her sweet daughter, Kimberly Lynn Lundy; and her husband, retired Army MSG William "Dick" Oliver Lundy. She is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jesse Bean; her treasured son and daughter-in-law, David and Gina Lundy; her adored siblings, sister, Barbara Beeler, and brother and sister-in-law, Don and Carlene George; her cherished grandchildren, Greg Bean, Chris Bean, Lori Lundy, and Sara Lundy; and her precious great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Bean and LuCretia Bean. Hila's family would also like to give recognition and thanks to the considerate staff at Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the receiving of friends on Monday, June 27, 2022, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a funeral service at 7:00 pm officiated by Pastor John Fultz of Nance’s Grove Baptist Church. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 10:00 am for a procession to Highland Cemetery for an 11:00 am graveside services officiated by Rev. Wade McCullough.
