Herbert Lockwood Tudor

Herbert Lockwood Tudor, 78, of Clinton, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017. He was born August 27, 1938 in Union County. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, where he formerly served as Choir Director. Herbert enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was the owner and operator of New Loyston Memorial Garden. Preceeded in death by loving wife of 51 years, Edna Tudor; parents, Lex and Martha Tudor; brothers, Johnny, Jerry and J.C. Tudor; sisters, Sara Lee Tudor and Helen Warwick. Left to cherish his memory are daughters, Rebecca Wilkerson and husband Tony, Sandra Longmire and husband Charlie; grandchildren, Brittany Wilkerson, Kayla Wilkerson, and Matthew Longmire; sisters, Margie Fraker (Carl), Trula Ogle, Marylynn Champion; brother, Hobert Tudor; and many nieces, nephews, and long- time friends. The family wishes to thank honorary grandsons, Tyler Irwin and Ben Howard, Covenant Home Health/Hospice and Dr. Thakur and her staff for all their care. Family and friends will meet 1:15PM Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and proceed to New Loyston Memorial Gardens for 2PM interment service. Family will receive friends 6-8PM Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow, Rev. Allen Giles and Rev. Cody Dykes officiating.
