Herbert J. Edington, age 78, of Knoxville, passed away suddenly on January 18, 2019.
He was of the Christian faith and served in the US Army.
Preceded in death by parents Perry and Dot Edington; brother Charles Edington.
Survived by loving wife Martha; sons Jay and wife Sandra, Herbert Allen; brother Jim and wife Janice; several stepchildren and grandchildren; 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Carl Elliott Jr. officiating.
Family and friends will meet at Mount Herman Cemetery 235 Copeland Rd in Powell for a 2:30 graveside service on Thursday, January 24, 2018.
