Herbert E. Mcbee

Herbert E. McBee, age 80, of Knoxville passed away peacefully on May 20, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Retired from the United States Postal Service after 40 years and proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Preceded in death by parents Hodge and Ferrel McBee; son Joseph A. McBee; and sisters Wanda Lowe and Jessie Price. Survived by wife of 48 years Linda McBee; daughters Robin Biggs and Karen Janeway and husband Mike; sons Charles McBee and Michael McBee; grandson Tristin McBee; sisters Bessie Keck, Ima Obenschain and Pat Estridge; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 7:00pm, Tuesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet 1:15pm, Wednesday, at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for interment at 1:30pm. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm, Tuesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
