Helen "Shorty" Severs

Helen “Shorty” Severs, age 55, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord June 11, 2016. She was a member of The Western Heights Baptist Center. She was preceded in death by husband Darrell Severs, parents Odis and Elizabeth Moore, sister Sharon Wilson, brothers Tommy and Clarence Moore, and son-in-law Brad Coffey. Survivors include daughters Melissa Coffey and husband Josh, Cynthia Collins and husband Dusty, sisters Mary Moore and Janice Ogle, brother Ray Moore, grandchildren Logan, Tyler, Brooklyn, and Clint, as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to gofundme.com/helensevers to help with funeral expenses. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
