Helen Irene Monroe age 82, of Knoxville, went to her heavenly home to be with her lord and savior on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Daughter of Olaf Wilkerson and Maggie Humphrey Wilkerson and wife to Bruce E Monroe. Helen was a loving Homemaker and devoted wife. Preceded in death by her first-born son, Richard E Monroe and daughter, Sharmin Shoffner, brothers: Carl Wilkerson, Bob Wilkerson, Junior Wilkerson, Hobert Wilkerson; sisters, Ola Mae Wilkerson, Annabelle Lines, Ruth Martin, Teresa Wilkerson, Mildred Wilkerson, Geraldine Hansard, Sophie Wilkerson, Elizabeth Wilkerson. Survived by her sister, Pearl Wilkerson and daughters, Kimberly Easterday and Bobbi Monroe, grandchildren: Kenneth Davis Jr, Kristen Wooten, Kathy Meeks, Laura Monroe, Aaron Shoffner, Travis Shope, Allison Smith and William Easterday; great grandchildren: Maisee Shope, Maison Shope, Novi Godsey, Caleb Monroe, Zane Davis, Camden Parton, Jailey Parton, Steven Smith, Hudson Smith, McKinley Wooten, Morgan Wooten, Madison Wooten, Lainey Smith, and Levi Smith. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 1:45 PM at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery for a 2:00 PM graveside service. Online condolences may be made at www.mynattfh.com.
