Helen Malinda Lyons

Helen Malinda (Lane) Lyons, age 70, of Knoxville, passed away July 12, 2017. She accepted Jesus on March 30, 2017 and was a member of Dante Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Lyons, Sr.; parents, Herbert & Margaret Lane; brother, Frank Lane. She is survived by sons, Samuel “Sammy” Owens, Clifford “Mackie” Lyons, Jr., and wife Tammy, and David Lyons, and wife Linda; daughter, Pam Conaway, and husband Tom; grandchildren, Chris, Robert, Christy, April, Samantha, Kayla, Andy, Tori, and Josh; 8 ½ great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Miller (“aunt sis”). The family would like to express a special thanks to Covenant Hospice, especially Kelly, Rachel, Chasity and Jason, for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Dante Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Saturday at Dante Baptist Church, 314 Brown Dr., Knoxville, TN 37918, with a memorial service to follow at 7pm. Officiating the service will be Rev.
