Helen Blanche Davenport

Helen B. Davenport, age 78, of Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2017. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by parents, husband Lloyd Davenport, 4 sisters, and 3 brothers. Helen is survived by daughter and son-in-law Kim and Leroy Brown; step-son Alan and daughter-in-law Teresa Davenport; grandchildren Lloyd and Danielle Brown, Anna Young, Mariah Long, Rebecca Davenport; sister Margie Chapman; brother Albert “Sonny” Cardwell; several nieces and nephews; and many friends at Broadway Towers. Family and friends will meet at 11:15am Monday at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery Lyons View for an 11:30am graveside service, Rev. Charles Reynolds officiating.
