Hazel M. Cardwell

Hazel M. Cardwell, age 67, of Seymour passed away November 13, 2012. She was a lifelong member of Island Home Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by son Richard N. Hines III and first husband Richard N. Hines, Jr. Survivors include husband Donald Cardwell, son Michael Hines, step-daughter Donna Patterson, grandchildren Corey and Rachel Hines and Claudia and Rayna Patterson, as well as several brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Island Home Baptist Church 2323 Island Home Ave. Knoxville, TN 37920. Funeral services will be held 7 PM Thursday at Island Home Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Littlejohn officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM Friday at Greenwood Cemetery for interment at 11 AM. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday at Island Home Baptist Church. Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City is in charge of arrangements.
