Harry Wendell Seaton

Harry Wendell Seaton age 96, succumbed to pneumonia and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Harry was ordained as a deacon on August 15,1954 and was a faithful member of Central View American Christian Church as long as his health allowed. He worked hard to raise seven children and was an excellent Christian example for his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen, his parents, L. H. (Jim) and Bernice (Stott) Seaton and his sister, Dorotha Seaton. Left to mourn his passing are his children and their spouses: Sandra (Wayne) Zachary, Mark (Suzin) Seaton, Allen Seaton, Phil (Lisa) Seaton, Susan (Mark) Sharpe, Martha (Kevin) Roberts, and Mary (Byron) Chesney; his grandchildren and their spouses: Jennifer (Rob) Jones, Crystal (Brian) Burnette, Trina (Brandon) Coffman, Kayla (Jeremiah) Brooks, Andrew (Nikki) Sharpe, Ryan (Shelby) Sharpe, Nathan (Leanna) Roberts, Jared Roberts, Jessica, Matthew and Elizabeth Chesney; and his great grandchildren: Noah, Eli and Ava Jones, Isabella and James Burnette, Rylee, Leah and Bryson Coffman, Amelia and Solomon Brooks. Haley and Mason Sharpe, and Micah Roberts. His grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Following the visitation, a procession will be held to Greenwood Cemetery for a 3:00 pm graveside service with Rev. Jerry Epperson and Rev. Dallas Harrell officiating.
