Harry Wayne Norman, age 70, of Powell, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was a member of Bell's Campground Methodist Church and a Master Diamond Star Technician for over 30 years. He was a devoted member of the Board of Directors for Bell’s Campground Cemetery for 25 years.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Deborah Norman; father and mother, Glenn and Mildred Norman; and sister, Susan Fritz.
He is survived by his son, Christopher (Michelle) Norman; daughters, Amanda (Ryan) Dorsey and Jennifer (Ben) Marlow; grandchildren, Matthew Norman, Danielle (Gage) Norman, Dakota Sizemore, Jack Coffey and Waylenn Dorsey; sister, Glenna French, and a host of friends and extended family.
Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel, with Brad Brown and Bill Rimmer officiating. Interment service will follow at Bells Campground Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00am - 2:00pm, Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Powell Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation in the name of Harry W. Norman.
