Harry C. Ayles

Harry C. "Uncle" Ayles, age 88 of Knoxville passed away on March 13, 2021. He attended Broadway Baptist Church and Dutch Valley Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents Harry and Margaret Ayles; wife Charlotte Ayles; son Gary Wayne Ayles and sisters Louise Atkins and Juanita Atkins. Harry lived with his nephew and wife, Jim and Betty Atkins. He is survived by many special loving nieces and nephews. Harry was an avid bowler; loved the Ice Bears; was a dedicated fan of the Fulton Falcons and loved the Lady VOLS. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 17, 2021from 6-8 p.m. in the chapel of Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel with a funeral service following at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Charlie Reynolds officiating. Family and friends will meet on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City by 11:15 a.m. to go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for a 12 noon graveside service. Family will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the team at Amedysis Hospice for their care of Mr. Ayles.
