Harold Timothy Ensor

Harold Timothy Ensor, age 96 of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. He was born and raised in the Beaumont community of Knoxville. Harold was a Seaman First Class United States Navy Gunner who served in WWII and fought in the European and Pacific theaters. He retired as a Sergeant from the University of Tennessee Police Department after 32 years of service. He enjoyed going to the Waffle House in Halls every day with his son Michael and seeing his Waffle House family. Preceded in death by loving wife of 70 years, Hazel Alice Weaver Ensor; father, William McKinley Ensor; mother, Jessie Marie Yarberry; brothers, Fritz Ensor and Elmer Ensor; and sisters, Betty Wilson, Jo Phillips, and Elizabeth Ashe. Survived by son, Michael (Regina) Ensor; brothers, Sam (Linda) Ensor and Charlie (Linda) Ensor; and grandchildren, Miriam Ensor and Griffin Ensor. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 2:45 pm on Monday, September 26, 2022 for a 3:00 pm graveside service with Rev. Sam Ensor officiating.
